Real Madrid Reveals
Real Madrid Reveals: This season, Real Madrid’s defence hasn’t been the finest since they’ve let in too many goals and made too many errors at the back. Right-back is undoubtedly one of the key areas of concern on the backline. In the current campaign, Dani Carvajal has been anything but consistent, and many fans are concerned about his form.
This season, Nacho has taken Carvajal’s place at right-back a few times when he was taken off the starting lineup. And while he has performed admirably when needed, he is unquestionably not a long-term option in that situation.
Right-back coverage for Real Madrid is currently lacking, and given Carvajal’s performance this year, it may be time to start looking for a long-term replacement. And the most recent name to be associated with Los Blancos may surprise the fans.
According to 90min, Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Manchester City have all showed interest in signing Benjamin Pavard. They requested to be informed of his position.
The contract Pavard currently holds with Bayern Munich has little over a year left on it. The French World Cup winner is reportedly waiting until the summer to talk about his situation at the club.
Pavard has a track record of success for his club and country. In addition to helping France win the 2018 World Cup, he helped Bayern Munich win the 2020 UEFA Champions League. Because he can play both right-back and centre-back, Pavard is a versatile defender. He would undoubtedly fulfil all the criteria Real Madrid might have for their next right-back.
