Messi’s deal with Paris Saint-Germain expires in the summer, and there have been rumours that he would return to Barcelona to play for Xavi’s team.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Lewandowski was questioned about the Argentina international and made it plain that before he hangs up his boots, he would love to play with Messi at Barcelona.
Messi belongs to Barça, therefore his comeback would be extraordinary. He informed reporters, “We are aware that his residence is right here in Barcelona. “I don’t know what will happen, but I hope we can play together next season.”
Messi has been in communication with Barcelona about a potential return, according to vice president Rafa Yuste, but it is unclear whether the Catalan giants will have the money to fund such a transaction.
